Sometimes, we tend to forget how beautiful life is. We were soaked with our daily tasks and forget to appreciate our surroundings. Imagine waking up not thinking about work or anything that worries you. You can hear the birds tweeting loudly. Open your window in the morning and closed your eyes, you can hear the wooshing of the wind as the branches of the tree dances. Try to look at the sky and appreciate the beauty that it brings, especially when the sun rises, we tend to pause for a while to just stare at it. Then a lot happy thoughts came out. The lovely flowers that you have in your garden. Whenever I wanted to relieve my stress, I always do this. I wanted to just bring my camera with me and appreciate nature through the lenses. Once you capture it, you know that it's already a masterpiece.
These are some of the photos I have been keeping on my google drive. I have been watching it again these past few days to get some inspiration about the story I wrote on wattpad. Since I haven't been in a vacation for a while, I needed a breather and revisited this album on my drive.
My favourite subject aside from the sunset and sunrise are the coconut trees. I'm always at peace and happy whenever I get to see them. I even told my friend @simpledemple that I'd love to go to Siargao just to be with the coconut trees. Maybe I was a coconut tree on my previous life 😂🌴.
I don't know if these were still the same after the typhoon though. Some may bid farewell already, as there were a lot of trees that died after typhoon Odette. I certainly hope that people will plant more trees now, especially after what happened. I'm pretty glad though that the trees around our office compound have survived the typhoon and are slowly growing new leaves and flowers.
John Muir said that in every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks. ☺️ Nature brings joy and smile in my face, it made me recall wonderful memories of my childhood and my past. How about you? Do you love coconut trees too? 😋
