THE MAGIC PAINT BRUSH 🖌️

Lately, I wanted to try painting. I used to draw really good back in my younger years. I even remember that I asked my mom to let me choose Drafting during high school as my Home Economics major. Though, she didn't let me, because it's for the boys and she thought I'd end up having boyfriends if I'd allow myself to be surrounded with boys. Yet, my major is close to what I wanted since hand crafting is also considered as an Art. Anyways, I came across this art exhibit in Ayala that features Cebuano Artist. The exhibit had something to do with Sinulog and features Cebu as the subject.

My favourite among the painting is this one. The beach, the sunset and the boat draws my attention. I always imagine this scene and used to draw something close to this. My own version would Bea girl looking at the sunset, the coconut trees and the waves are dancing, it's an image I used to draw back then. I'll let you see one of this days as soon as I'm done painting mine. ☺️

I also love the flowers and landscapes, I guess I just really love the visuals of mother nature. Imagining the artist trying to create their obra through every stroke of their paint brush. It's like creating magic through paintings. All of the paintings that were being displayed are for sale. Get to know the artist at their Facebook Page Friday Group Sesionista Cebu Artist. I'm pretty sure that your art work have captured so many hearts not just to us Cebuano but to everyone who have seen your work.
